Refurbishment of a Grade II Listed Apartment, Barbican Estate

Situated on the Grade 2 listed Barbican Estate, the 'M2A' type duplex apartment, spans the third and fourth floors of Bunyan Court, the apartment offers views across Beech Gardens towards the Shard and St. Paul’s to the south, while also overlooking the Fann Street wildlife garden to the north.

Chamberlin, Powell & Bon’s original features are carefully preserved, including the staircase and balustrade, teak window frames. The bedroom is situated off the entrance hall, and retains its original cupboards. Adjacent is a shower room and The design concept and the choice of material for the bathroom was influenced by the existing functional layout and requirement to connect to the communal building services.

The kitchen design was carefully considered as a contemporary take on the original Brooke Marine kitchen with all new energy efficient appliances.
